Rob Kremer

Rob Kremer is founder and president of the Oregon Education Coalition, which has been active in the school policy debate since 1998. In the 1999 legislative session, Rob led the effort to pass Oregon’s charter school law. Kremer has helped start dozens of charter schools, including the Oregon Connections Academy, Oregon’s first “virtual” charter school.

Kremer also founded the Conservative Majority Project and serves on the board of the Oregon Leadership Roundtable.

After two years at Willamette University, Rob studied economics at the University of Chicago and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors in 1982. He received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago in 1985.

Kremer wrote a monthly column for BrainstormNW, numerous articles in print and online, and he hosts “Kremer & Abrams” on KXL Newsradio 750.
